Terms of Service

Cuevent ("Service", "we", "us") is an event planning & ops SaaS operated by 카라멜 랩 (Cuevent), a Korean business with CEO 이찬서 and business registration number 649-48-01145, located at 경기도 부천시 원미구 중동로254번길 78, 6층 c75호 (중동, 필타운). Contact: caramellabkorea@gmail.com.

We provide tools for event planning, public apply pages, AI-generated plans & copy, attendee management, automated reminders, and post-event retro. We do not process ticket sales or hold funds for paid events — hosts collect from attendees directly via their own payment methods.

You must be 14+ to create an account. Provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.

Paid plans (Solo, Duo, Master) are billed monthly by Polar (polar.sh), our Merchant of Record. Polar handles tax compliance, currency conversion, and invoicing for your jurisdiction. By subscribing, you accept Polar's terms in addition to ours.

You can cancel anytime from your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no prorated refunds for unused time. For accidental charges or product defects, contact us within 14 days at caramellabkorea@gmail.com — we'll review on a case-by-case basis. Refund processing is handled by Polar.

Do not use Cuevent for illegal activity, spam, fraud, harassment, or to host events that violate local laws. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy or attempt to circumvent rate limits / abuse our infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for the events you host on Cuevent — including content accuracy, attendee communications, refunds to attendees (for paid events), compliance with local laws, and honoring the commitments you make to attendees. Cuevent is a tool provider, not the event organizer.

You retain ownership of the event content you create (plans, copy, forms). You grant Cuevent a limited license to host, display, and process your content as needed to provide the Service. The Service itself (UI, code, AI prompts) is owned by Cuevent.

Cuevent uses AI to draft plans, copy, and other materials based on your inputs. AI output may contain inaccuracies. You should review AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it for decisions. We do not warrant correctness or fitness for a particular purpose.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages may occur. We are not liable for losses caused by Service downtime beyond the value of fees paid for the affected period.

Either party may terminate the account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days for potential restoration, then deleted unless legally required to keep longer.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim under these terms is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be resolved in good faith first via direct communication; failing that, in the Seoul Central District Court unless your local consumer protection law mandates otherwise. EU, UK, and other consumers retain their statutory rights.
